We’ve all read the popular New York Times Modern Love column. What you might not know is that the Times receives thousands of submissions for the 50 essays it publishes each year, making it one of the most sought-after spots for both aspiring and established writers. 

Join GrubStreet and Belmont Books for an evening of rejected Modern Love essays. Five writers will share the work they poured their hearts into. They’ll share stories of love, loss, and the murky zone in-between. The event will be moderated by Lorena Hernández Leonard.
